Alana De La Garza, an outstanding actress who has created a lasting impression in the world of television. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mother in Columbus Ohio. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas in search of an athletic therapy profession at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last all that long in Texas then moved into Orlando Florida where she experienced many acting opportunities including local independent films and global commercials. Despite her small roles, De La Garza soon discovered her passion for acting. She moved into New York and in 2001 she got her first part on the daytime soap opera All My Children as Rosa Santos. The actress had a few roles on JAG the Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. Her first major part came in 2004's short comedy The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano as well as some of the top TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Pilegge. Her most memorable performance was in 2006's Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. She then joined the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza has been nominated to win several awards including Best Supporting Actress for TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. She won an Impact Award in 2008 for her exceptional performance in the dramatic TV series of National Hispanic Media Coalition. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast on CSI Miami in a recurring part. She was Marisol Delko and wife to the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. She played Dr. Lena Solis, she appeared on the dark drama of NBC Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano's show was pulled by NBC following only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress is an ethnically-mixed woman of Italian descent and also has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years younger than her. Milano was raised in an orthodox, religious family. Milano was first introduced to acting at age seven old. She was accompanied by her babysitter on stage for auditions. From more than 1,000 candidates the actress was selected as one of just four. Milano was featured in commercials on television and off-Broadway and in the American musical adaptation that portrayed Jane Eyre.
