She received her law degree from Yale Law School. There she was also a Coker Fellow for Constitutional Law. In addition to this, she worked as a secretary in the office of Judge Juan R. Torruella of U.S. Court of Appeals First Circuit San Juan Puerto Rico. Her admissions into the State Bar of New York in 2003 and Connecticut, respectively, are a testament to her legal expertise. Asha is a frequent writer for ABC News and has written op-eds for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post. Asha is on the board of Just Security, and she's an Council of Foreign Relations member.
